As part of its unwavering commitment to advancing sustainable agriculture, the Islamic Chamber Training Academy (ICTA)—in collaboration with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Perez-Guerrero Trust Fund (PGTF)—organized a two-day workshop titled “AgriTech: The Way to Achieve Sustainable Agriculture” on May 21–22, 2025, at the Foreign Trade Chamber’s headquarters in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The workshop opened with welcoming remarks from H.E. Mr. Yousef Hassan Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development, and H.E. Designed to build capacity and spark innovation among participants, the workshop provided members of the Islamic Chamber with in-depth training on agricultural technology applications. The agenda included expert-led panel discussions, interactive sessions, and hands-on activities focused on equipping attendees with the tools and insights needed to drive sustainable growth in agricultural enterprises.

Key Modules of the Workshop:

  • Module 1: What is Business? – Farm Business and Its Management
  • Module 2: What is Agriculture? – Agriculture vs. Agribusiness

  • Module 4: Understanding the Value Chain Concept

Each module was crafted to promote smart, entrepreneurial approaches to agricultural development, particularly for small and medium-sized agribusinesses across member states.
