Cairo, Egypt – The Islamic Chamber Training Academy successfully concluded its specialized training program “Activating the Role of Business Sectors in Public Policy-Making,” held on July 8–9, 2026, in Cairo. The program was led by H.E. Mr. Yousef Hassan Khalawi, Secretary-General of the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development.
Over the course of two intensive days, participants explored the foundations of public policy and the private sector’s evolving role within decision-making systems, along with methods for bridging the gap between business priorities and policymakers with efficiency and professionalism.
The program further highlighted the strategic importance of active business participation in shaping economic and developmental policy, building persuasive institutional influence, and creating effective channels of cooperation with government and decision-making bodies.
Participants praised the program’s practical depth and applied approach, describing it as a valuable step toward strengthening their organizations’ ability to navigate the complexities of public policy engagement.
